Silence

I see it

I try to escape

I go

I hide

Voices swirl

Feelings shift

But it just grins and sits

And soon 
the rest fades

I go

It’s late

I lie awake

It finds me

I break

It yawns  

It gapes

It does not speak

But it no longer waits
